In honor of National Drink Beer Day, we wanted to round up the best dog-friendly breweries in Bend so that you can enjoy a refreshing brewski with your best friend this week.

So make sure you get out on the town today, and have a beer with your dog in the microbrew capital of the USA. Don’t worry – there are plenty of dog-friendly options. It will be hard to choose.

We’ve rated these dog-friendly breweries based on:

  • Ample space and easy access to a grassy area
  • Their involvement with the Bend rescue dog community
  • Their delicious, pup-approved menu!

If we’ve missed your favorite dog-friendly brewery in Bend, let us know in the comments below. The top 5 best dog-friendly breweries in Bend are in no particular order:

Crux Fermentation Project |50 SW Division St, Bend, OR 97702

This brewer-owned establishment prides itself on authenticity and community.

Each rotating tap is brewed with perfection and grace. But the best part is the space for your dog. Crux Fermentation Project has a legendary grassy area that is home to live music, food carts, and all around good times. You can bring a blanket and chill out with your dog in the grass. You could also snag a shady table so you can sip your brew while your dog sits beside you. Don’t forget to bring treats!

Built from an old AAMCO transmission shop, this brewery has a rustic, down to earth vibe that our dogs love. And you know if the dogs love it, the family will too.

Spider City Brewing |1177 SE 9th St, Bend, OR 97702

Spider City Brewing is all about the rescue dogs. They recently gave a portion of their profits from their crispy Enigma Pilsner to Companion Animal Medical Project – a local organization that provides low barrier pet care and supplies to the houseless community.

We love Spider City because it is woman-owned and when you get there, it’s like you’re at a friend’s house. The tasting room is like a cozy garage, with tons of beer options.

The taps are aplenty, but the best part is that you can bring your dog into the brewery to order your beer or in case of inclement weather. There’s even grass surrounding the brewery just in case!

Good Life Brewing | 70 SW Century Dr suite 100-464, Bend, OR 97702

It’s a good life when you’re with your dog, and this brewery knows it.

This establishment is one of our favorite dog-friendly breweries in Bend because there is so much space to hang out in with your dogs! You can even play corn hole with them.

The grassy patio is home to lots of spaced out tables and unforgettable food so it feels like you’re having your own private party. These carts also sell beer, so you don’t have to worry about leaving your dogs unattended while you order food and drinks.

Good Life Brewing was the first place to can beer in Bend, so if your dog is timid – go buy a six pack and hang at home!

10 Barrel Brewing | Multiple locations

10 Barrel makes the list as one of the best dog-friendly breweries in Bend because they want to make sure local Bend dogs are healthy and happy.

That’s why they specifically designed the Good Sit Pup Ale – a (non-alcoholic) beer for Bend dogs. It’s glucosamine rich and helps support a healthy gut and strong joints. How cool is that?

Best part of the Good Sit Pup Ale is that 100% of the proceeds benefit the local Bend rescue organization Street Dog Hero.

Lastly, at their pubs, there’s a separate menu for pups. You can order a plain grass-fed burger for your dog while you enjoy a refreshing beer. You and your pupper will be warmed by their fire pits and satiated with incredible food.

Bend Brewing Company | 1019 NW Brooks St.
Bend, OR 97703

We love Bend Brewing Company because they are always supporting our friends at the Humane Society of Central Oregon. They even hosted HSCO’s 60th anniversary of saving lives!

We love local businesses who have rescue dogs in mind.

The location is also iconic. BBC is nestled along the Deschutes River, with a grassy knoll for all the dogs to stretch out and have a great time. This brewery also has taps outside, so you don’t have to leave your dog unattended while you order your beer.

The second oldest brewery in Bend, Bend Brewing Company has made a name for itself as a stellar spot loved by tourists and locals.
